I drove out to see Aunt Bonnie                   

She lived in Grand Junction, Colorado.  She had just had her 104th birthday, and  I wanted to see how she was doing.  Since I wasn't in any hurry, I decided to take the back roads, seeing the country you never see on the Interstates and stopping to see a few friends along the way.

The round trip took me 19 days and 4,443 miles.  Here's just a little about it.
