New Mexico

By early afternoon on Wednesday, I was in Arroyo Seco.  (Not shown on this map, but just east of Arroyo Hondo.)
I spent  three days there, with my cousin Sooz..  We went down to Taos and did a lot of shopping and just hung out at her super cool place..  We weren't able to get into the Taos Pueblo because they were having  religious holidays.  Maybe next time.

Then I turned east to begin the long trip back to  Atlanta.  As I headed over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, it began to snow and didn't stop until I was into Oklahoma.  I tossed some rocks in the back of the truck to hold the back tires down.  When I got home, I put them around our fish pond.  (The rocks, not the tires.)

I was in 4-wheel drive for most of the way, and the engine began to miss.  It never did that before.  Uh-oh.
